Facebook si Instagram adopta aceleasi masuri pe care si Netflix le-a luat in urma cu cateva zile. Calitatea clipurilor video de pe cele doua retele de socializare va fi mai slaba pentru a putea mentine o retea stabila la internet.

Atat Facebook cat si Instagram vor reduce biutrate-ul video in Europa pentru a ajuta partenerii sa gestioneze restrictiile de latime de banda si sa poata mentine o legatura stabila si sigura cu utilizatorii.

Practic este mai important sa poti lua legatura cu cineva printr-o conexiune stabila decat sa vezi filmulete cu pisici la o calitate ridicata. Facebook a avut 288 de milioane de utilizatori zilnici in Europa incepand cu 2019, iar daca acestia sunt si mai activi decat de obicei (ca doar stam mai mult acasa) reteaua ar putea suferi probleme.
