
Cu aceasta ocazie AMD, prin intermediul lui Richard Huddy, seful diviziei de gaming, va gazdui o conferinta, eveniment transmis si pe net, live, incepand cu orele Romaniei 17:00. Speram ca in aceasta ocazie sa prezinte si viitoare placi video, ce vor tine piept lui Maxwell de la nVidia.





Comemora – ceva ce este mort? (așa știu eu)
La asta m-am gandit si eu. Cred ca Alex a vrut sa zica „va celebra”.
Desi termenul este asociat frecvent cu ideea de ceremonie trista organizata in memoria unei personalitati sau a unui eveniment, de fapt se refera doar la o celebrare solemna dedicata aducerii in amintire a acelei personalitati sau acelui eveniment. Cu alte cuvinte, nu e musai vorba de morti.
Daca cei de la AMD vor folosi fanfara militara si toate „ingredientele” specifice unei astfel de actiuni solemne, atunci termenul e bine ales. In plus, daca mai apare si un popa cu agheasma pe traseu, e destul de clar ca vom ramane doar cu Intel. 🙂
Sinclair ZX Spectrum – (HC) aparea in 1982. Conceptul GPU inca nu aparuse – sau daca aparuse nu auzisem de el datorita izolatiei noastre. Au mai fost si alte HC inainte, deci tot articolul e pentru jocuri care deja existau si pentru GPU care inca nu existau. Dar in definitiv poti sarbatori doar de dragul sarbatori.

3D Stacked Memory is not invented by NVIDIA, but by AMD&Hynix
AMD is the big brain behind DDR and GDDR. When you buy a Tesla-card, you also pay for AMD’s memory. This is also a reason why AMD-cards have quite high memory bandwidths: they’ve got the experience. Together with Hynix AMD also has developed 3D stacked memory. In other words: the big thing of Volta is an invention by AMD. With this in mind, watch the below video.
Unified Memory is Virtualunified-mem
